Payroll report

A payroll report is a report generated using either people management or payroll software for the purposes of calculating employees’ pay at the end of a pay period.

Payroll reports are typically used by managers and business owners to save time when calculating the amount they’re required to pay their staff for the hours they’ve worked. The contents of a payroll report are based on either the hours shown on the staff rota, or, for a more accurate report, employees’ individual timesheets.

Time and attendance software like RotaCloud allows managers to generate payroll reports based on accurate employee clocking in data, meaning that staff are never over- or underpaid, and saving managers hours of tiresome data entry and admin in the process.
