Absence planning

Absence planning is another term for leave planning. Leave can refer to a number of different things, such as annual leave (holiday), sickness, maternity & paternity leave, public holidays, furlough leave, compassionate leave, or study leave.

With RotaCloud’s leave planner tools, managers can record planned staff absence in advance so that it appears on the rota, helping them schedule shifts around it. Their staff, meanwhile, can use the RotaCloud mobile app to request time off or check their remaining leave allowance, without having to pester their manager with emails or memos.
