Established in 2005, GUST Swim School Ltd is a private swimming school specialising in teaching small groups. They run sessions for babies aged 3+ months, toddlers, children, and adults, teaching seven days a week at their purpose-built facility based in Stone, Staffordshire, as well as at various hired venues across the region.

They currently employ approximately 30 staff, and in addition to holding swimming classes offer underwater baby photography and run a swim shop.

The challenge

“Anyone running a business knows that employment is the hardest part and, with so many different roles within our business from self-employed to part-time and full-time staff, managing rotas was a difficult, full-time job,” GUST’s Vicki-Ann Underhill told RotaCloud.

People can see what holidays they are entitled to each year, request holidays and view updated rotas in advance,” she explained.

The GUST team were also eager to heap praise on RotaCloud’s numerous built-in reports, which have saved her and her fellow managers countless hours of admin.
